Raised in Japan's Kagawa prefecture, the cattle are fed a special diet of Japanese rice straw, Italian rye grass and pressed olive oil, resulting in high levels of oleic acid (a heart-healthy fat). It won the top prize for "best fat" at Japan's 2017 Wagyu Olympics, which takes place every 5 years. It is nearly impossible to get and sells out fast due to only 2000 cattle in existence.
